Investment-Based Immigrant Visas (EB-5)

The EB-5 program provides a path to permanent residence for foreign investors who make a qualifying investment in a U.S. commercial enterprise and create American jobs. It is often used by entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals who wish to immigrate with their families through investment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum investment of $1,050,000, or $800,000 if investing in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA: rural or high-unemployment area)
• The investment must create at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers
• Investment must be in a for-profit U.S. enterprise
